Synopsis

STREET LEGAL, like the original show, is a character-driven legal drama that combines high-stakes, case-based storylines with ongoing, serialized character development. It features a strong procedural element, but at its heart Street Legal has always been a classy, smart soap opera that embraces the drama of day to day life. Street Legal is about people who practice law, and the lives they lead both on and off the job. The relaunched show embraces the success and brand of the original, but this is a new show about the law as practiced in Toronto today, with contemporary themes, characters and issues at play.
