Synopsis

Building on the stellar success of the first two seasons, Anne with an E season 3 sees the kids coming of age and continues to explore themes of kinship, love, loss, feminism, equality, racism, and prejudice.

Its fierce, starry-eyed, irrepressible protagonist turns 16 at the start of the season and finds herself exploring her origins as she begins a search for what really happened to her parents. This brings about complicated feelings for Marilla, causing a rift between the two. The season also sees the introduction of three new characters: Ka’Kwet, and her parents Aluk and Oqwatnuk and an Indigenous storyline.
