CBC & Radio-Canada Media Solutions is pleased to announce the promotion of Patricia Châteauneuf to the role of Executive Director, Multi-platform Media Sales, Montreal and Eastern Canada and the hiring of Émilie L. Laguerre as the Director of Business-to-Business Marketing & Communications.
Patricia Châteauneuf is a well-known industry leader in the Quebec market, and has most recently been CBC/Radio-Canada's Director, National Multi-platform Sales and Client Innovation, for more than seven years, where she has reinvigorated her team and encouraged them to take on new challenges to deliver extraordinary sales performance. With experience in building strategic alliances which have led to many successful consortiums with other media groups, Patricia was a natural choice to fill the role of the Executive Director following the retirement of industry veteran Reneault Poliquin, who will be retiring effective March 31st after more than eight years with CBC/Radio-Canada. Prior to CBC/Radio-Canada, Patricia held leadership roles at TC Media and Astral.
“Patricia's passion for the industry is evident in the numerous juries she has participated in, and her involvement in various causes and industry boards. She is also well-regarded by her peers and clients alike,” says Donald Lizotte, General Manager & Chief Revenue Officer, CBC & Radio-Canada Media Solutions. “I have had the privilege of working with Patricia over the past year, and I am so pleased to see her take over the reins from Reneault Poliquin when he retires. I would also like to thank Reneault for his contributions to the team and wish him the best in his retirement.”
Émilie L. Laguerre brings 10 years of experience in marketing and more than six years in management in her new role. Most recently, she held the position of Director, Communications and Partnerships at Renaud-Bray, a major Quebec bookstore chain. With a strong background in branding, marketing, sales, events and public relations, Laguerre brings a unique perspective to the team.
“Émilie is a strong leader and a strategic thinker, and her vast experience will help our business-to-business team continue to grow our position as leaders in the Canadian media landscape,” says Donald Lizotte. “I am very excited to welcome Émilie to our group, and look forward to working with her as we continue to evolve with the industry.”
Laguerre will begin her appointment on February 15th, with Châteauneuf taking on her new role effective April 1st.
