It's time to vote!

January 4, 2023, Montreal

The millions of viewers who tuned in to Radio-Canada on New Year's Eve were treated to some incredibly creative entries as part of the Bye bye de la pub, the 5th annual advertising competition that encourages brands to create original ads for the Bye bye broadcast. The participating campaigns were posted online on January 1 at Radio-Canada.ca/concours-byebye-pub-2022, and the public has until January 8 to vote for their favourite commercials. The winners will be announced a few days after voting closes.

“This competition has become part of our very popular New Year's Eve tradition and we were really looking forward to discovering what the advertisers had come up with for this fifth edition of the Bye bye de la pub competition. The quality of this year's entries was definitely very high and it will be a tight race as the public tries to choose a winner, said Patricia Châteauneuf, Executive Director of Multiplatform Sales, Montreal and Eastern Canada with CBC & Radio-Canada Media Solutions. “I'd like to sincerely thank all the advertisers and agencies that do such a good job delivering fresh creative year after year. Special thanks as well to our teams for all the fun and enthusiasm they've brought to organizing the competition for the past five years.”

Now it's time to celebrate the creative excellence of our homegrown talent by voting for the campaign that impressed you most!
